The
Sandia and Manzano Mountain ranges lie directly
east of Albuquerque, New Mexico. People have
moved to the numerous small communities of Tijeras,
Cedar Crest, Sandia Knolls, Sandia Park, San
Antonito, Sedillo, Moriarty and Edgewood to
enjoy the mountains, yet still enjoy the convenience
of Albuquerque. Perhaps the most attractive
part of living in the East Mountains are the
mountains themselves. Pinons, junipers, and
ponderosa pines abound.
